I just watched Snatch again after 4+ years (didn't really understand it the first time), and throughout the movie, I kept on thinking...you know, there's some slash to be found here. Even Brick Top says that Tommy is Turkish's girlfriend XD. So you can imagine how pleased I was to find all these wonderful fanfics by you! I read every single one, including Diamond in the Rough, which tore my heart apart at 3 am last night/this morning. You really developed the characters well and cast a different perspective on Turkish and Tommy's relationship, which the film never really fleshed. My favorite of your current line-up (and I sincerely hope there will be more!) is Cake, not least because it was just my birthday a few days ago ^_^. Okay, I'm going to go and review that now.

Oh wow! This was unexpected! Thanks so much for letting me know that you enjoyed the stories, I'm really glad you did. :-) At the moment fanfiction is kind of least of my priorities, and I'm all into Star Trek fandom, but I do plan on writing more Snatch stories (I have ideas to almost fill up this chart, I'm just a really slow writer with a really busy real life). Thanks again for commenting though, it really made my day. :-)

Oh, neat! What kind of ideas, can I ask? :P I know how it is with writing though, I'm very slow too and can go for weeks without working on a fic, if the mood just isn't there. And hey, you're a Star Trek writer too! I got into it through the new movie, which then prompted me to watch TOS, which THEN led me to TNG, and well, I was writing a Q/Picard fic until I got sidetracked by summer vacation and Snatch ;;; What pairings do you write? Any slashy episodes you recommend? I've been kinda jumping all over the place.

I have this one where Tommy breaks his back, but I haven't worked on it in a long time and I don't know if it'll ever get finished enough to actually post. There's also a half-finished epic fusion fic with Avatar: The Last Airbender that I do want to finish at some point, but between Star Trek fics and school I don't know when that will be. (Hopefully before the awful Last Airbender movie comes out!)

I just write XI fic really, I liked all the series except Enterprise but it's been a long time since I've watched them, and I besides reading the occasional Chakotay/Paris fic I don't think it was ever really on my slash radar. In hindsight though, it should've been. I've rewatched a few more TOS episodes since the movie came out, can't really give a recommend on any slashy episodes, except that they are ALL dripping in some combination of Kirk/Spock/McCoy. Really, it's so blatant, they must've known what they were doing!

I ship everyone from the XI movie with everyone else, and will read almost every pairing, haha, but I've written Kirk/McCoy, McCoy/Chekov, Sulu/Chekov, Spock/Chekov and Scotty/Chekov. My OTP is Sulu/Chekov, and I also really like Spock/Uhura and Spock/Uhura/Kirk but I don't actually write het, so...

Well, I for one certainly would love to read it, finished or not. I was trying to think of some ideas, but Ritchie's storylines are just too clever. Was trying to formulate a scenario where some rival group steps on Turkish's turf and tries to poach one of his boxers before a championship match. Or perhaps an alternative ending that involves Turkish, Tommy, and Mickey getting captured by Brick Top and tortured (good for angst <3) before Mickey's friends come to the rescue in the end. Come to think of it, I'm surprised there isn't any slash with that Pikey son of a gun; sometimes, I feel like the whole caravan deal was just his way of flirting with Tommy XD.

Kirk/McCoy/Spock is so the OT3 of all time~ I still choke a little every time I watch that episode where our favorite Vulcan goes into heat. Ahaha, swear there are fangirls on the writing staff. That pon far needs to make an appearance in the sequel. I wish there was more McCoy/Spock though...those two have so much unexploited friction. Chekov is so cute in the movie, I loved his wunderkind persona and fake Russian accent, but I never understood Sulu/Chekov...not that I'm against it, it's just that they barely interact with each other. I dunno, maybe I'm missing something?

So is there a Snatch comm on LJ? I've been trying to find one since I got hooked, to no avail.

If there is a Snatch comm, I haven't found it. As far as I know, there is no fandom, although there are a few Lock Stock fics floating around. (You would think after Rock n Rolla there'd be some interest, too, but there isn't even a section for Rock n Rolla on fanfic.net!) I have totally seen a few Mickey fics, but I think they've been taken down from the internet - maybe the author/s left livejournal, IDK.

I have no idea where Sulu/Chekov comes from, but I LOVE it. They have some pretty sweet interactions in some of the movies, but it's been so long since I've watched them. Obviously time for a rewatch!

Aw, that really sucks. I just finished watching Rock n Rolla, and man, the slash in this is really through the roof XD. I loved Handsome Bob's confession to One Two, and the continued flirtation amongst the Wild Bunch, and how Johnny always sneaks the gun from his dear Uncle Archy's pants - and Archy lets him! <3 the gay in this is AMAZING. Plus, Stella is one hot cookie, I wish she and the Russian hooked up in the end...too bad that the painting got in the way. Definitely needs to be rectified. Is there going to be a sequel? I wasn't that partial to pseudo-philosophical rocker junkie Johnny, but the clean-cut young man at the end is very appealing, and I'd love to see him hack his way to the top with his loyal lover number two at his side. Oh, that's probably it, I didn't see any of the old movies. All I remember is the time when Sulu gets infected with the weird virus and strips half-naked, waving his rapier around XD OMG That sounds so wrong.

I want to make a slash comm for Ritchie films. Any ideas for a name? I expect there's gonna be a lot more interest after the Sherlock Holmes movie comes out (I'm also a big Holmes/Watson fan of the old school, I own all the books <3).

Yeah Sulu and Chekov end up being pretty good friends in the movies. There's also a whole series of novels about Captain Sulu of the Excelsior and First Officer Chekov (Rand and Chapel are in his crew too). So even though it's not explored a lot in the regular canon, it's pretty cool knowing that they end up serving together, and in this one book I read they are constantly referred to as each other's best friends, just like Kirk and Spock.

I'm super excited for Sherlock Holmes. I gotta try to get all my Star Trek fics ideas done before that comes out so I can get onboard a shiny new fandom! I can imagine there being a few Snatch/Sherlock Holmes fusion fics in my future too, putting the boys in Holmes' time!

You should make a Ritchie slash comm! I would post fic to it. I imagine there will be a lot of Sherlock Holmes comms - I mean there is already Sherlock Holmes slash, right? So maybe it would be better to make the comm around the time the movie comes out - frame it as a Sherlock Holmes slash comm but say all Ritchie fics are welcome? Maybe ritchieslash would be the easiest thing to call it?

Since you've been around longer, seeing as how you've got a lot of Snatch fic up, and Snatch is the most popular Guy Ritchie fandom by far. I really dunno where else to post stuff. I hate that FF.net won't accept NC-17 fics >.> so I can't post a lot of my stuff on there.

Oooh I never thought of a Holmes crossover, but now that you mention it, that would be fantastic! I mean, he's a detective, he could be investigating the criminals in any of the previous films XD. It's perfect. Man, I really can't wait for this film.

I don't have the time for modding (although I guess it probably won't be busy until after Shelock Holmes comes out). But I'll definitely post a link to it in this post (seems to get the most of my Snatch-related traffic), and in my future fic posts. I'll alert the, like, one person I know on LJ who is in this fandom. I have no idea where to post either, I've never made a community before, but there's gonna bound to be a general Sherlock Holmes comm when the movies comes out, and maybe there will be slash writers there that will want a home? It would be great if this rekindles slash interest in other Ritchie movies!
